3. NYX pressed pigment in Hot Black

Instructions:

1. Start by applying a dark cream shadow base to the eyelids. This will really help your smoky eye stay in place. 

2. Blend out harsh lines with a neutral brown color to help accentuate the smokey effect. Blend into the eyelid crease with a fluffy pointed crease brush

3. Apply dark eyeshadow on top of cream shadow with a shadow brush using patting motions. Take your time!

4. Line the bottom lid with a dark eyeliner pencil or crayon to help define the eyes. This will add definition to the eye shape. Wipe off any access shadow fallout with a makeup wipe

5. Apply concealer to clean up the under eye area as well as highlight the cheek. Blend it in with a blending sponge.

6. Define the nose bridge with the same concealer. This technique will help define and slim out the nose.

7. Add warmth to the face by contouring cheeks, nose and forehead with a deeper toned shading power or bronzer. Use a light brush and a light hand. Blend with dense brush.

8. Groom lashes with a clear brow/mascara gel. This will help the hairs stay in place and lay flat.

9. Apply a red lipstick to the top lip only. Use a lip brush for a more precise application

10. Apply tribal marks with a paint/ink pen. Use pointed cotton swabs for greater precision.

11. Apply a strip of the paint to the center of the bottom lip. Be careful not to paint it too high as it will be smeared by the top lipstick.

‘This Is a Mass Casualty Situation’: 1 Dead and Multiple People Injured After Gunman Opens Fire in Nashville Church

One person was killed and seven others were wounded during a shooting at a church in Antioch, Tennessee, on Sunday morning.

Metro Nashville Police announced on Twitter that a shooter opened fire at Church of Christ Burnette Chapel. They said that one woman died and an additional six people were shot, with another person wounded by being pistol whipped.

The Nashville Fire Department said “all of the wounded except for one is over the age of 60.”

“This is a mass casualty situation. All of the wounded have been transported to area hospitals,” the department said. “The majority are older adults.”

The shooter was also wounded and taken to a hospital, police said.

Bill Hunter, a former minister of the church, told Tennessean reporter Natalie Allison, “A fella walked in, sat down in a seat and pulled out a pistol and started shooting.”

A woman living next door to the church told WKRN two people came up to her door and said, “Someone is shooting at us at the church.” Her husband went to the church and saw a victim that had been shot in the back.

Nashville police were not immediately available for further comment.

According to News Channel 5, victims were sent to both Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Tristar Skyline Medical Center. Both hospitals have been placed on mass casualty alert.

The church,  holds a weekly service at 10 a.m., reports the Tennessean. The area around the church is shut down as police continue their investigation.

Tom Brady was seen linking arms with his New England Patriots teammates during the national anthem at their Sunday afternoon game against the Houston Texans.

Patriots reporter for the Providence Journal Mark Daniels also noted that lots of defensive players chose to take a knee.

On Sunday morning, Brady subtly showed his support for the NFL players’ protest following Donald Trump’s recent comments about how professional athletes like Colin Kaepernick — who have chosen to protest the national anthem by taking a knee — should be fired.

Brady posted a picture of him and his teammate James White captioned, “Strength. Passion. Love. Brotherhood. Team. Unity. Commitment. Dedication. Determination. Respect. Loyalty. Work.”

Brady also commented on a photo posted by Aaron Rogers — which featured the Green Bay Packers quarterback kneeling with other players — with a flexing arm emoji.

Brady said last October that he considers Trump a friend.

The two met in 2002 — just as Brady claimed his first Super Bowl title, reports CBS Sports. He was hired by Trump’s organization as a judge on the Miss USA pageant, and the two have remained supportive of one another through the years.

“I met him probably 15, 16 years ago,” Brady said of Trump. “We’ve played golf together many, many times and I’ve always had a good time with him. He’s been a friend of mine.”

During a rally speech in Alabama on Friday, Trump stated, “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, say, ‘Get that son of a b–ch off the field right now. Out, you’re fired.’”

He followed this up by pouring more gasoline on the fire with a series of tweets. “If a player wants the privilege of making millions of dollars in the NFL, or other leagues, he or she should not be allowed to disrespect…our Great American Flag (or Country) and should stand for the National Anthem,” he wrote. “If not, YOU’RE FIRED. Find something else to do!”

Numerous celebrities — including Stevie Wonder, Diddy and Uzo Aduba — have also joined in standing behind the players, using the #TakeAKnee hashtag on social media.

On Sunday, multiple players on both the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars took a knee during the national anthem during a game in London. Others, including coaches, linked arms on the sideline in solidarity.

New England Patriots owner Robert Craft, who is considered an ally of Trump and even gave him a Super Bowl LI ring, issued a statement on Sunday about how he was “disappointed” in the president.

“I am deeply disappointed by the tone of the comments made by the President on Friday,” Kraft said.  “I am proud to be associated with so many players who make such tremendous contributions in positively impacting our communities.”

“Their efforts, both on and off the field, help bring people together and make our community stronger. There is no greater unifier in this country than sports, and unfortunately, nothing more divisive than politics,” he continued. “I think our political leaders could learn a lot from the lessons of teamwork and the importance of working together toward a common goal. Our players are intelligent, thoughtful and care deeply about our community and I support their right to peacefully affect social change and raise awareness in a manner that they feel is most impactful.”

In July, Hudson debuted her new buzz cut in Los Angeles on the set of her movie Sister, which singer/songwriter Sia wrote and is directing.

When asked in Cosmopolitan‘s October issue about her post-workout beauty secrets, Hudson’s humorously replied: “Shaving your head. Cuts down on time spent post-sweat.”

Hudson and Fujikawa made their red carpet debut in May after attending the premiere of Hudson’s mother’s movie Snatched in Westwood, California, together.

Romance rumors first started after the pair were spotted kissing during an L.A. lunch date in March.

Since then, the couple has been spotted all over the world. From going for a night out in N.Y.C. to celebrating Hudson’s birthday together in L.A., and even to Cambodia, where the couple took a trip together in June.

It appears Fujikawa fits right into Hudson’s hipster lifestyle. “Kate’s a free spirit who has always been attracted to musicians,” a source previously told PEOPLE. “But Danny also appeals to her because he is talented, bright and cosmopolitan like she is.”

Added the source at the time, “Kate’s enjoying herself. At this point it’s not serious.”

Marshall will hit theaters on Oct. 13.

Thomas Rhett Is Excited to Celebrate Christmas with Kids: Last Year ‘Was Literally Me, My Wife and 2 Dogs’

Thomas Rhett has belted out a lot of songs in his career, but his newest single “Life Changes” is probably the most apropos.

On Aug. 12, he and his wife Lauren Akins welcomed daughter Ada James. Just a few months prior, the couple adopted their daughter, Willa Gray, now 22-months-old.

How’s that for life changes?

“Last Christmas it was literally me and my wife and two dogs, and this Christmas is going to be my wife, two dogs and two kids,” he told PEOPLE at the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas on Saturday. “I would say that’s the most massive change on the planet.”

“It’s hard,” he said of juggling new fatherhood (times two!) and touring,”but Lauren has been so amazing.”

In fact, his wife flew to Los Angeles on Friday with the children to surprise him during his show at The Greek, which he says “is not an easy flight with two kids under 2.”

Like we said, life changes.

“I meet people in meet and greet and people will say, ‘I know that that story is your story, but I kind of replace things that happen in my life and sing the chorus and it makes sense for all of us,'” Rhett said. “That’s one the things I thrive on as a songwriter is trying to make it as personal as I can and have it relate to as many people as humanly possible.”

An undertone is the tone that peeks through your skin from beneath the surface: warm, cool, or neutral. A warm undertone generally gives skin a yellow, peachy, or golden tone. In contrast, cool undertones can be bluish, pinkish, or ruddy. Keep in mind, this is not the same as your skin tone. No matter how fair or deep your complexion is you can have a cool, warm, or neutral undertone. Why It’s Important to Know Yours Finding your perfect shade of foundation, lipstick, and even hair color can be a seriously difficult task. This is where knowing your undertone can help you figure out which hues work best for you. While some brands like Estèe Lauder and M·A·C Cosmetics label their foundations as warm (w), cool ©, and neutral (n), that’s not always the case. Generally, foundations that have a cool undertone have a slight pink tint to them, whereas ones with a warm undertone lean a bit more yellow or golden. Knowing your undertone can also help you find your perfect shade of lipstick. If your skin’s undertone is on the cooler side, opt for lipstick hues that have a blue or deep-purple undertone.If your skin leans warmer, opt for shades that have an orange or yellow base. When finding your most flattering hair color, it’s all about complementing your skin’s undertone. As a general rule of thumb, cooler complexions work best with warmer hair hues— think beige, caramel, honey and espresso. Those that have a warm tone in their skin should try shades with an ashier undertone, like icy blonde, chestnut, and licorice. NFL Re-Airing ‘Unity’ Ad Following Donald Trump’s Controversial Comments About Players

The NFL is taking a united stand after President Donald Trump called for the firing of basketball and football stars like Colin Kaepernick who have chosen to protest the national anthem by taking a knee.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has announced that the league will re-air a unity television advertisement on Sunday night following Trump’s controversial comments over the weekend.

“We will air this Unity spot in tonight’s game,” Goodell said in a tweet on Sunday afternoon. “It reflects the unifying force of our great game, our players & clubs.”

An NFL spokesman added to CNN, “We think this is the single best response to demonstrate what we are about. It stands in stark contrast to some who practice the politics of division.”

The one-minute ad, called “Inside These Lines,” first ran during February’s Super Bowl and will be re-aired during Sunday night’s game between the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins.

The spot shows images of football players embracing each other while a narrator says, “Inside these lines, we don’t have to come from the same place to help each other reach the same destination.”

The move comes after Trump, at a rally for Alabama Republican Senate candidate Luther Strange on Friday, said he thought NFL team owners should fire players who have protested the national anthem.

He doubled down on his comments in a series of tweets on Saturday and Sunday, saying NFL players “should not be allowed to disrespect … our Great American Flag,” and encouraging NFL fans to boycott games in counter-protest.

He added that he thought locking arms would be an acceptable form of protest but that “kneeling is not acceptable.”

Goodell previously said that president’s remarks about the NFL demonstrated “an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL.”

In the first chapter of The Magnolia Storyreleased as a sneak peek today, the Fixer Upper dream team spills the details of how they met — and it wasn’t exactly love at first sight.

Joanna agreed to go out on a date with Chip after meeting him and his roommate “Hot John” — who she actually tried to approach minutes earlier, but was too shy — in the waiting room of her dad’s auto shop. She had second thoughts, however, after Chip arrived an hour and a half late to pick her up.

“He didn’t apologize for being late, either. He had so much confidence. I don’t know. I can’t explain it. Only Chip could be an hour and a half late and have no one mad about it,” Joanna writes.

The chapter continues to describe the timeline of their relationship, which didn’t actually start until months after they first went out, when Chip (in typical guy fashion) finally called Joanna back.

“I’d made a bet with Hot John to see who could hold out the longest before calling our dates back,” Chip writes “I really wanted that fifty dollars from John! That’s the only reason I didn’t call.”

After they went out a second time, the rest was history.
